Since there are no chins available for adoption, we will disable the adoption form until further notice. If anyone wishes to start posts, discussions, etc. on anything regarding chinchillas in the Dallas-fort Worth and Texas area, feel free to use our facebook page! It is set up and meant to be used to form a chinchilla-related community in our area.

To adopt, you must be over 21 years of age, and must come to pick them up as we do not ship chinchillas. 

You are most welcome to visit my home for a meet and greet to find prospective new family member(s). 

We will introduce you to our chinchillas, so you can learn their personalities and quirks. 

Meet and greet usually lasts about 2 to 4 hours, where prospective owners will get to meet each chinchillas. During that time, Tamara (owner) will provide comprehensive information/education about how to best care for chinchillas. 

All chins adopted must have an approved cage and exercise wheel. 

No Breeding, period.

An Adoption form will have to be filled out. Some of these kids have lived in multiple homes and been through a lot. To ensure they find a safe and loving "forever home", we require an adoption application. Owning a chinchilla is a commitment and responsibility, as chins live up to 20 years. Please consider carefully if chinchillas are right for you, and do not contact us if you're looking for a Christmas gift or children's toy. The entire adoption fee goes to the rescue's funds and is used towards the care of the chinchillas.
